In this role, you will partner with the VP Marketing to drive the overarching strategy for elevating Klein Tools’ brand with key accounts, activating major product launches, and leading in-store, digital, and event marketing activities to create world-class B2B customer and end-user consumer experiences. You will cultivate partnerships with marketing contacts within key accounts, leveraging the brand’s national content calendar to build customized marketing plans relevant to account product strategies. Additionally, in partnership with sales leadership, you will overhaul and own sell-in strategies to communicate the brand’s product priorities and demand creation strategies during the sales process.To be successful in this role, you will need a combination of brand and product marketing experience, as well as strong presentation, planning, budgeting, and organizing skills. You will leverage communication and leadership skills to powerfully influence teams across functions toward a common goal.Key Responsibilities

Develop, proactively communicate, and execute ongoing wholesale retail/wholesale/distributor marketing strategy and calendarized plans, overseeing all marketing activities for key accounts.Own the relationship with external account marketing teams, driving development of relevant product marketing plans and content calendars aligned with the brand’s integrated marketing calendar to drive strategic business priorities.Strategically lead in-store and digital marketing initiatives for key accounts, driving strategy and collaboration with direct reports and cross-functional leaders (Sales, Online Marketing, Product Marketing, Creative, etc.) to optimize the omnichannel consumer experience.Overhaul the sales tools creation process, identifying impactful priorities; create briefs for and ensure timely execution of high-impact sales tools targeted to key accounts within tight timelines.Maintain and report on in-store and digital retail marketing budget, driving budget strategy and adherence cross-functionally and with vendor partners.Lead the team responsible for promotions and events, creating and leading a strong culture and team environment, enabling high performance and advocating for continued professional growth in the team.Oversee Event Marketing Manager to deliver new product launch & brand engagement strategies for B2B trade shows and other events.Prepare for and travel to key account sales and marketing meetings as required.Oversee marketing planning for Sales Meetings; plan key sales meeting activities with stakeholders and partner with VP Marketing to execute production and presentation initiatives.Evaluate channel marketing activities and leverage insights to continuously improve consumer engagement/conversion solutions.Gather stakeholder feedback to enhance processes and boost efficiency with 3rd party vendor partnerships, taking business needs to RFP as required.Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related discipline with at least 8 years of relevant experience; at least 2 years’ experience as a People Leader.Ability to effectively collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Creative Sales, and Finance teams to drive change and deliver on initiatives. Demonstrated ability to build and manage retail marketing budget with forecasting accuracy. Brand and product marketing, digital marketing experience. In-store/retail marketing experience (visual presentation, promotions). Trade show and event marketing experience. Project management proficiency. Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure and within time constraints. Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills are required; ability to apply systems knowledge to troubleshoot and analyze new issues is critical. Must be a self-starter, able to work independently with a proactive working style. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills. Proven leadership experience with the ability to attract, retain, motivate, and develop teams.Physical Demand Requirements

Occasionally required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Travel Requirements

This position will travel as required, roughly 25-30% of the time, to meet with key accounts, walk regional stores, and attend relevant events.
