Position Details:
Title: Network Analyst
Location: Houston, Texas
Day to day:
Network Planning and Management : Design, install, and support network components like routers and switches, ensuring efficient LAN/WAN operations and adherence to cybersecurity and NERC-CIP standards.Technical Expertise and Troubleshooting : Demonstrate proficiency in network protocols (spanning tree, RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), ICS protocols (CONITEL, DNP, Modbus, IEC 61850), and conduct network troubleshooting using tools like WireShark.Knowledge Sharing and Process Improvement : Engage in knowledge transfer with peers, participate in process improvement initiatives, and contribute as a technical team member on large-scale projects.Vendor Management and Change Control : Conduct vendor comparisons, maintain network documentation, manage testing of new network solutions, and adhere to Change Management protocols for network incidents.Network Performance and Application Support : Utilize network management tools for problem isolation and performance enhancement, and provide support for business applications.
Requirements :Minimum: 6 years' experience that includes network design, operational support, hands-on implementation and configuration of network devices such as: routers and switches.Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering or Applied Science or equivalent work experienceDesired Cisco Certifications: CCNA, CCENT.Minimum 6 years' experience in providing design and support services for large-scale, multi-site network environments.Job Requirement
