The Colony Group seeks a motivated and qualified individualfor the position of

Royalty Analyst

to join our Royalty team.This position is an integral part of the Royalty Department and its efforts tomeet the company's many and diversified contractual requirements.Thisposition is responsible for preparing royalty statements for different types ofroyaltors, including artists, producers, various third parties and publishers.

Primary responsibilities for this position include:Prepare accurate and timelyroyalty statements under various business agreements, such as directroyalties, joint ventures and distribution deals using internal royaltysystem or Excel;Read and analyze complexagreements; ensure that statements adhere to all contractual provisions;Handle internal and externalinquiries; andLiaise with internal andexternal teams:to collect sales reports fromvarious sources; andto assess and calculate whichexpenses can be factored into royalty statements.The positionrequires:

4+ years' experience inbusiness management;Prior royalty administrationexperience preferred;Advanced proficiency inMicrosoft Excel, including extensive knowledge of how to utilize formulasand functions to extricate date-specific data from large spreadsheets, aswell as using formulas and other functions such as pivot tables, vlookups,sumproducts, etc. to analyze and aggregate data is required;Must have prior entertainmentindustry experience, as well as experience reading and understanding legalcontracts and licenses;Must be highly organized withmeticulous attention to detail, resourceful and a self-starter; andAbility to communicate with alllevels of personnel both internal and external; solicits and readilyreceives feedback.

This is a Non-Exempt position.
