Our team is currently looking for a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team and ensure the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure.

Job Overview:

The IT Support Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving the IT systems of our law firm. This role involves providing technical support to staff, troubleshooting issues, managing hardware and software, and ensuring data security and compliance with legal industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:Provide first-line support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software, and networks.Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues in a timely manner.Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords in accordance with firm policies.Ensure data security and compliance with industry regulations.Maintain and update IT documentation, including user guides and standard operating procedures.Assist with the procurement and management of IT equipment and software licenses.Conduct regular system audits and backups.Collaborate with external IT vendors and service providers.Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements relevant to the legal industry.Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and legal-specific software.Familiarity with network administration and network security practices.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Experience with data backup and recovery solutions.Understanding of legal industry compliance standards is a plus.Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are advantageous.What We Offer:

Work Environment and Schedule:

This role is based in our office located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The IT Support Specialist is expected to be on-site during office hours to provide immediate assistance to our team and ensure all IT systems are functioning efficiently.

This intensive training phase is crucial for gaining a deep understanding of our operations, procedures, and the standards of service we expect when handling client interactions. The training period will last for a minimum of 30 days and may extend up to 90 days, depending on proficiency and the speed of acclimatization to our processes.

Work Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a half-hour lunch break.Friday: 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break.
