Required:•Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client's site in
Charleston, WV
(required);•Experience maintaining and managing database systems (10+ years)•Experience in optimizing execution for procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.(5+ years)•Experience in data modeling.(5+ years)•Experience writing and maintaining UNIX/Linux shell scripts in HP UNIX or RedHat Linux environments.(5+ years)•Extensive experience with RMAN backups, including full and incremental backups, and database cloning.•Must be an Database Administrator Certified Professional.
Preferred:•Experience in debugging PL/ code.•Advanced experience with Warehouse Builder and fine-grain access control in databases
Responsibilities
include but are not limited to the following:•Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of database systems.•Ensure efficient execution and troubleshoot performance issues related to procedures and packages.•Manage data modeling and implement strategies for database security and access control.•Administer RMAN for database backup, recovery, and cloning operations.•Write and maintain scripts for database automation and maintenance tasks.•Provide assistance to programming staff in debugging procedures, triggers, functions, and packages.•Maintain technical documentation and ensure database operations comply with company standards.
