As a Production Operator II, you will play a crucial role in our bakery production process. Your responsibilities will include operating and maintaining automated equipment, ensuring food quality and safety, and contributing to a clean and organized work environment. You will work closely with your team to achieve efficient daily operations and meet production goals.
Responsibilities:
Ensure food meets quality specifications
Operate and adjust machinery & equipment to ensure accuracy and proper food specifications
Maintain settings on equipment and ensure supplies are full
Maintain appropriate documents/reports
Ensure work areas, machinery and equipment are clean, organized and adheres to applicable safety rules at all times
Responsible for reporting and taking necessary actions to ensure food safety and prevent food quality problems from occurring; communicating safety, quality, production, maintenance and hygiene issues to appropriate personnel
Continuous compliance with Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP's)
Adhere to production work schedule, running order and recipes
Perform other duties as assigned or required
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED is preferred
2 years of manufacturing expereince preferred
Equipment and product knowledge
Equipment and product troubleshooting ability
Lift/Carry up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance
