Job Details:

We are currently seeking a passionate and highly skilled Accounting Manager for a permanent position in our dynamic manufacturing company. This role is key to the financial health and success of our organization. As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our financial operations, including financial reporting, month-end procedures, journal entries, reconciliations, and overseeing AP/AR. You will also be involved in budgeting processes and will be expected to utilize Netsuite for various accounting tasks. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional who has a strong background in accounting, possesses exceptional leadership skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxesPrepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completenessPerform monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analysesManage the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reportingSupervise, mentor, and develop a team of accountants, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellenceCollaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and complianceDevelop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure adherence to corporate guidelines and regulatory requirementsContribute to budgeting and forecasting activities, providing financial insights to support strategic decision-makingUtilize Netsuite to streamline and automate financial processes and reportingQualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Masters degree or CPA preferredMinimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a senior role within the manufacturing industryStrong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Experience with financial reporting, month-end processes, journal entries, reconciliations, and overseeing AP/ARProficiency in using Netsuite or similar accounting softwareExceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a teamStrong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to make data-driven decisionsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with strict deadlinesDemonstrated ability to drive process improvements and optimize workflowsHigh level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
