Financial AnalystLocation: Culver City, CA (Hybrid 3x week- Flexible)2-3 Month Assignment (potential to extend)Pay: $45-55/ HROur client, a leading multinational media and entertainment company, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team.Responsibilities:Day-to-day support of the FP&A team with consolidation, analysis of the financial budgets and quarterly forecasts, and financial modeling.Consolidate and analyze monthly financial operating results and variances to forecast.Consolidate forecast submissions from global FP&A teams and review variance commentaries.Discern performance drivers in a complex industry using data and commercial insight from regional finance and sales planning teams.Assist with the preparation of quarterly forecast presentations and ad hoc analyses.Aid in development of global reporting, including dashboards to provide value-add insights.Collaborate with global FP&A, IT, and Commercial teams to optimize processes.Ensure FP&A system is accurately updated. Maintain data versioning and develop new reports as needed.Qualifications:Bachelors degree with emphasis on coursework of a quantitative nature, preferably Business, Finance, or Economics1+ year of experience in a highly analytical environment, preferably in FP&A/Strategic FinanceSkills:Proficient with Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides; Tableau knowledge is a plusExperience working with Planning tools (Hyperion Planning, PBCS, or Essbase)Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex financial data to non-financial stakeholdersStrong people skills, including the ability to work in a cross functional environment and communicate with various levels of the organization
