Get ready to jumpstart your career in the Manufacturing industry! We are looking for a dynamic Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team on a consulting contract basis. This is a hybrid position, combining both onsite and remote work, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The Accounting Payable Analyst will play a key role in maintaining our financial health and making sure we are on track towards our financial goals.
Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Payable Analyst, you will be the backbone of our financial operations. You will be responsible for:
- Processing and managing company invoices and accounts payable.
- Performing account reconciliations, ensuring accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
- Reviewing payable documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Assisting in the preparation of billing statements and reports.
- Coordinating with other departments to resolve account discrepancies.
- Implementing process improvements to streamline the accounts payable process.
- Utilizing Microsoft Excel to manage, analyze, and present data.
- Ensuring timely payments of company debts.
- Assisting with audits and providing recommendations for improving procedures.
- Maintaining accurate and complete financial, employee, and client records.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, analytical problem-solver with a knack for numbers and a passion for financial accuracy. Below are the qualifications we are looking for:
- A minimum of 1 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience with account reconciliation, billing, and Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable.
- Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data for discrepancies and inaccuracies.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain detailed records.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
