Overview of the Human Resources Director role:
- Perform disciplinary investigations, actions, and terminations
- Full-cycle recruiting: interview, hire, onboard, and train new staff members
- Direct employee relations, recognition programs, development programs, and performance reviews
- Administer wages, benefits, and leave
- Oversee occupational health and safety programs, ensure compliance of HR policies with labor law and best practices
- Analyze organizational trends and review HRIS reports
- Develop and implement department budget
Preferred Qualifications for the Human Resources Director:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
- PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
- Minimum five years of Human Resources and supervisory experience
- Familiarity with ADP is a major plus!
- Highly effective communication and relationship-building skills
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
This role is fully onsite in Berrien Springs, Michigan.
The annual salary is between $89,850 and $99,840 depending on experience.
