Smokehouse Operator

Nesco Resource is hiring for a Smokehouse Operator Monday - Thursday from 11:00am - 9:00pm this is 4 ten hour shifts per week

Occasional overtime as demand requires

The position requires candidates that are extremely reliable and have a great attention to detail. The primary purpose of the Smokehouse Operator is to operate and monitor all smokehouse processes

The role of the Smokehouse Operator is to ensure the product is cooked in a safe and efficient manner to the highest possible quality

Requirements for the position:

• Must have reliable transportation.
• Candidates must be able to learn to operate industrial smoke houses in accordance with company policy.
• Work in both hot / cold environments.
• Unload product at the completion of the cook cycle.
• Monitor controls throughout the cook cycle to verify the smokehouse is running properly.
• Must conduct process checks though out the shift to ensure are regulatory requirements and quality standards are met.
• Capable of filling out required paperwork documenting process checks.
• Capable of working as part of a team.
• Complete other tasks not relater to running a smoke house as required.
