Job Details

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of personal injury litigation matters. This role will involve a significant amount of client interaction, so strong communication skills are a must. As a key member of our team, you will be expected to handle all aspects of a case from inception through resolution. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned attorney looking to make a significant impact and contribute to our mission of providing top-tier legal services to our clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a caseload of personal injury cases from start to finish.
  2. Conduct client intake interviews and maintain regular contact with clients.
  3. Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
  4. Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs and argue them in court.
  5. Conduct discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document production.
  6. Represent clients at court hearings, mediations, and arbitration proceedings.
  7. Collaborate with our team of attorneys and legal assistants to ensure a smooth case progression.
  8. Stay current with developments in personal injury law and participate in professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
  3. A minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury litigation.
  4. Proven track record of successfully negotiating and litigating personal injury cases.
  5. Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  6. Strong research and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  7. Ability to manage a large caseload and juggle multiple priorities.
  8. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
  9. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  10. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on client service.
