Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This individual will play a key role in the financial management of our organization, providing expertise in accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis. This is a permanent role that offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and to contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
2. Use Jonas Software and Northstar Software for various accounting and financial reporting tasks.
3. Perform account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
4. Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide insight on company-wide financial trends and outcomes.
5. Apply hospitality accounting principles to manage and oversee financial activities in the hospitality sector of our business.
6. Review and improve processes and controls to ensure they are effective and efficient.
7. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
8. Work closely with internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
9. Prepare and submit tax returns and other regulatory filings.
10. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. A Master's degree is a plus.
2. CPA certification is a must.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or related field, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
4. Proficiency in Jonas Software and Northstar Software is required.
5. Experience in hospitality accounting is highly desirable.
6. Strong understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles and procedures.
7. Excellent financial analysis skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide meaningful insights.
8. High level of proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel.
9. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
11. Self-motivated, with strong organizational and time management skills.
