ModMed is hiring a driven Financial Analyst to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing Finance team focused on analyzing past financial performance in order to predict future performance and to advise the company on its financial strategy. ModMed is hiring a driven Financial Analyst to join our positive, passionate, and high-performing Finance team focused on analyzing past financial performance in order to predict future performance and to advise the company on its financial strategy. Your Role:
- Analyzes business and financial data.
- Creates financial models based on analyses to support organizational decision making.
- Develops financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
- Analyzes industry trends and makes recommendations based on those trends.
- Evaluates variance analysis for all company functions.
- Assists with monthly forecast and annual budget.
- Provide and create special ad-hoc analysis as requested.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
- 1-3 years of professional experience as a financial analyst, accountant, or auditor; highly successful recent college graduates will be considered.
- Expert level ability to meet performance timelines.
- Must have excellent team player skills, legendary can-do attitude, and curious nature.
- Ability to use numbers to tell a story.
- Excellent working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets a must, ERP/EPM software knowledge a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail is absolutely critical.
- Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
