The Fulfillment General Manager oversees daily operations at a large fulfillment site, driving accountability through strategic leadership and effective talent management, fostering a positive and engaged workforce. Demonstrates influential presence and adaptability to lead through change and innovation.
What You'll Do
- Lead vision and purpose by nurturing high-performing leaders and aligning team efforts with site goals.
- Develop leadership capabilities through skill assessment, real-time coaching, and crafting developmental plans.
- Cultivate a safe and supportive workplace that engages associates and leaders.
- Drive accountability by executing business plans, aligning segments to meet stakeholder and customer needs, and fostering a culture of performance.
- Leverage data to enhance productivity, optimize inventory management, and minimize part breakage.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance processes, ensuring exceptional partnerships.
- Oversee site P&L, steering towards financial goals and communicating progress, risks, and opportunities.
- Lead change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
- Plan and allocate resources effectively, optimizing workforce planning to meet operational demands.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, state, and local regulations (OSHA, CDL, DOT, MHE).
- Identify and resolve health and safety risks, providing coaching on best practices.
- 7-9 years of leadership experience, including developing other leaders required.
- 4-6 years of experience in supply chain, fulfillment, or distribution required.
- Experience leading a single fulfillment site or distribution center required.
- Experience with Korber or related WMS software preferred.
- Exhibit resilience and adaptability by managing operations and navigating challenges to achieve successful outcomes.
- Proven ability to exceed KPIs in service-oriented industries, prioritizing quality, partnerships, and customer outcomes.
- People-first mentality with a solution-oriented approach.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
