Through our relentless pursuit of better, we are decarbonizing our planet at the gigaton level, and bringing the advantages of clean energy to all of us.ABOUT THE POSITIONWe are seeking an experienced Chief of Staff to serve as liaison and perform all necessary functions in support of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This role requires advanced knowledge of utility-scale solar operations, superior communication, analytical, and presentation skills, and comfort working in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.Reporting to the CEO, the Chief of Staff should be highly organized, responsive, thoughtful, self-directed, and committed to producing a high level of quality of work.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESIn partnership with the CEO, convenes and facilitates teams on priority issues.Prepares important documents for reports, meetings, presentations and memos.Help CEO to prepare financial analysis to enable decisions on projects and the portfolio.Arranges meetings and appointments and updates records.Assists with research and writing reports, or independently writing reports on behalf of upper-level management.Draft and format information for internal and external communication – this may include emails, presentations or reports to the Board and other outside parties.Act as liaison between the CEO, Senior Executive and Leadership.Coordinates schedules among executive team members and plans the logistics of each meeting.Participates in budget preparation and administration, monitors and controls expenditures.Organizes, leads, and helps execute company projects that may fall outside the scope of regular duties.Performs and manages complex and sensitive professional planning projects, research and analysis.Organizes and plans department outings and events, in conjunction with administration staff.Assist with other tasks or special projects as needed.REQUIRED

SKILLS AND

QUALIFICAT

IONSMinimum of 5+ years’ experience in solar operations.Must be innovative, detail-oriented, experienced in highly visible projects.Capable of managing multiple, high-priority assignments.Strong interpersonal skills to develop good working relationships with staff, officials and stakeholders and to resolve complaints.Strong analytical skills to interpret research data for reports and apply mathematic techniques in practical situations.Reading comprehension to understand technical and legal materials.Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously.Ability to provide effective supervision and staff management.Ability to manage projects effectively and meet firm deadlines.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage and conduct in-person and virtual public participation activities, meetings and hearings.
