- 24000001ENThe University of Tennessee Health Science Center, College of Medicine, Department of Surgery, is accepting applications for a full-time pediatric/congenital cardiac surgeon at the Associate Professor or Professor level, non-tenure track, to join the Division of Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.Position may supervise medical students, residents, and fellows.Qualifications:

Candidates should be certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and hold that Board's certificate in the subspecialty of Congenital Cardiac Surgery.Applicants should be established pediatric cardiovascular surgeons with a minimum of five years experience after completion of their pediatric cardiac surgical fellowship.Extensive experience in all aspects of pediatric cardiovascular surgery, surgery for adult congenital heart disease, the pediatric application of ventricular assist devices, and pediatric cardiac transplantation is required.Candidates who meet the UNOS criteria to become a pediatric cardiac transplant Primary Surgeon are preferred.Applicants should have a demonstrated commitment to and knowledge of equal employment opportunity and affirmative action.About the University of Tennessee Health Science Center:
