Maintenance Mechanic Lead (Operational Services)

CRH operates with a decentralized, diversified structure, letting you work in a small company environment while having the career opportunities of a large enterprise.PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS (not all inclusive):Performs equipment inspections and identifies condition (wear, alignment, function, etc.) and monitors performance as directed.Reports plant and/or equipment condition to appropriate personnel as required.Assists plant personnel with repair and maintenance.Analyzes malfunctions, performs repairs, rebuilds conveyors, crushers, screens and other equipment.Examines parts for damage or excessive wear.Welds broken parts and structural members and other items as necessary using stick or MIG welding processes.Diagnoses problems and performs mechanical repair.Performs routine, preventative maintenance such as lubricating, pulling oil samples and performing failure analysis.Complies with all Safety, Health, Environmental and other Company policies, procedures and requirements.Maintains good housekeeping practices on equipment.Must be able to work in a heavy industrial environment, exposed to weather elements, noise, mud and dust; must have ability to work independently and problem-solve while working alone or as part of a team.Must be willing to work flexible hours including some weekends and must be punctual in adhering to established start times.Performs other duties as assigned.Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Education and Experience:

High School Graduate, 10 Years Equipment Experience Preferred.Language Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of organization.Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
