Formulation Scientist
Location : Pennsylvania
Position Overview :
The Formulation Scientist will be responsible for developing formulations for oral solid dosage forms and other pharmaceutical products, as well as managing regulatory submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop formulations for nutraceutical, OTC, and prescription drugs in solid dosage forms.
Manage multiple projects to ensure timely product development.
Write protocols, master manufacturing records, and development reports.
Support production with process improvements and troubleshooting.
Stay updated on drug delivery advancements and regulatory trends.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
MS or Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Experience in pharmaceutical R&D, preferably in generic formulations.
Familiarity with formulation equipment (blenders, fluid bed dryers, granulators, etc.).
Knowledge of cGMP, FDA, and EU regulations, ICH, USP, and EP standards.
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Work Environment :
Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods.
Regular travel may be required based on business needs.
Personal protective equipment as required.
