Data Scientist

Optomi, in partnership with a leading financial service provider, is looking for a Data Scientist to join their team.Requirements:5+ years’ of professional Data Science experience.Python and SQL programming skills required.Expertise in machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).Experience with Databricks, Azure, Tableau preferred.Experimentation design, A/B testing, propensity score analysis, linear regression, simulation, probabilistic modeling.Responsibilities:Lead strategic projects from ideation to completion; working directly with cross-functional teams to address business challenges and opportunities through data science.Manage and perform advanced analytics using predictive modeling, machine learning, simulation, and other methods to provide insights or embedded models.Identify and define value-focused opportunities, extract & analyze a variety of data types, summarize essential findings, and present relevant recommendations.Develop, implement, and maintain AI/ML models to improve outcomes and enhance our ability to serve clients.Demonstrate an understanding of key business drivers, strategic direction, and competitive landscape to ensure initiatives and solutions are purpose-driven.Maintain a strong knowledge of Data Science-related technology, policies, use cases, and trends within the Wealth Management and Broker Dealer industries.Serve as an enterprise Business Analytics and Data Science subject matter expert.
