As a member of the Product & Data Analytics organization, a shared service within Kestra Holdings, the Data Scientist will provide analytics expertise and quantitative support to enable enhanced decision making and achievement of strategic goals across the enterprise. This role will define and lead data science and advanced analytics initiatives end-to-end, working hands-on with the data, applying cutting-edge techniques, and delivering meaningful insights.

Beyond technical proficiency, this role requires strong communication skills and thought leadership. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to champion approaches, build consensus around analytical solutions, and translate complex insights into action.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead strategic projects from ideation to completion; working directly with cross-functional teams to address business challenges and opportunities through data science.Manage and perform advanced analytics using predictive modeling, machine learning, simulation, and other methods to provide insights or embedded models.Identify and define value-focused opportunities, extract & analyze a variety of data types, summarize essential findings, and present relevant recommendations.Develop, implement, and maintain AI/ML models to improve outcomes and enhance our ability to serve clients.Demonstrate an understanding of key business drivers, strategic direction, and competitive landscape to ensure initiatives and solutions are purpose-driven.Maintain a strong knowledge of Data Science-related technology, policies, use cases, and trends within the Wealth Management and Broker Dealer industries.Serve as an enterprise Business Analytics and Data Science subject matter expert.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree required. Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, or related field preferred.5+ years’ experience leading data science initiatives.Ability to tune and optimize models and performance.Development of scalable data science models/solutions within a regulatory environment.Experimentation design, A/B testing, propensity score analysis, linear regression, simulation, probabilistic modeling.Python and SQL programming skills required.Experience with Databricks, Azure, Tableau preferred.
