The Safety Manager works within the department providing oversight and assistance of field work crews in order to comply with company and legal standards.Skills & AbilitiesEducation: Bachelors Degree in SafetyExperience: 1+ years in industry related safety positionOther Requirements: Must have a valid driver’s license, meet minimum driving requirements for company insurance purposes, successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.Position DetailsFLSA Status: ExemptJob Status: Full-timeAmount of Travel Required: 90%Reports to: Permian HSQE ManagerDirect Reports: NoneWork Schedule: Maintains a flexible work schedule to meet the demands of industry – hours may be long and irregular.DutiesComplete multiple jobsite audits each week identifying and correcting real or potential hazards observed.Make recommendations to management on improvement of processes and equipment to foster a safer working environment.Provide training for employees in both the field and classroom setting and ensure employee understanding of applicable rules and regulations.Lead on the ground incident investigation and post injury management efforts.
