The Assistant Professor (FA) or Lecturer (AS) will report to the Chair of the Psychology, Professional Counseling, and Neuroscience department.Pay Range:

Competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience.The Department of Psychology, Professional Counseling, and Neuroscience in the College of Natural and Health Sciences invites applications for a full-time (9-month), tenure-track (Faculty) or lecturer (Academic Staff) position in the graduate program of Clinical Mental Health Counseling. This is a fully on-ground position scheduled to begin in August 2024. The tenure-track option (Faculty) includes teaching (24 credits or 6 courses per year), research, and service responsibilities, while the lecturer position (Academic Staff) requires teaching (30 credits or 8 classes per year) and service responsibilities only. Opportunities to teach additional courses in the summer and winterim semesters may be available in both the CMHC and undergraduate psychology programs for additional compensation depending upon the needs of the Department. The successful candidate will have an earned doctorate in counseling or counselor education, experience teaching across the curriculum in CMHC, and experience supervising clinical mental health students. Both positions will provide clinical supervision and advisement to students in the CMHC program, contribute service to UW-Parkside, the College of Natural and Health Sciences, the Department, the profession, and the community, as well as other duties as assigned.
