Fordham University, Department of PsychologyAssistant Professor (tenure-track) position in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program to begin August 2025Fordham University’s APA-accredited Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program (CPDP) is seeking a candidate at the assistant professor level with a strong publication record, active research funding or clear evidence of potential to secure funding, and teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Candidates with expertise in any area of clinical psychological science are encouraged to apply, particularly those with expertise in pediatric neuropsychology, adapting evidence-based interventions for underserved populations (such as those in our local Bronx community), and/or implementation science. Our program adheres to the scientist-practitioner model with a strong focus on diversity and social justice in our research and clinical training. The CPDP’s Fordham Community Mental Health Clinic offers faculty the opportunity to supervise doctoral students and supports research projects in the community.Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses at both campuses, establishing/maintaining a productive independent program of research, and mentoring undergraduate research and graduate students’ theses and dissertations.Please submit the following: (i) a cover letter addressing how your interests and qualifications align with the position and how you address diversity, equity, and inclusion in your work, (ii) a vita, (iii) a research statement, (iv) a statement of teaching experience and interests, (v) three representative publications, and (vi) names, titles, and contact information for three professional references (Letters of recommendation will be requested at a later date as determined by the search committee).
