In the role of Environmental Project Manager, we'll count on you to:Work as a member of our environmental planning team in HDR's Northern California and South West Region, collaborating with a diverse group of natural and cultural resource professionals and engineers.Provide technical expertise at project level and assist with growing HDR's environmental program through development of client relationships and identification of opportunities for expansion of our environmental services.Take responsibility for project management, marketing, business development and client management.Establish sequencing of environmental tasks/projects, from financial management of project through successful completion (close-out) utilizing our technology, standards and project delivery practices.Plan and direct medium- to large-sized environmental tasks/projects for a diverse set of projects, with a focus on water projects.Prepare, plan and analyze/review technical studies, CEQA and NEPA documents, and similar reports/documents.Accomplish work independently and through coordinating or supervising small to large technical and professional teams from local and regional offices.Support regional and national projects in specific areas of technical expertise and be closely involved in public participation and multiple agency coordination.Take responsibility for project management, including development and management of project budgets, schedules and quality of products.Work with the Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews.Implement QA/QC procedures.Perform other duties as needed.

Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in related field7 years related experienceA minimum of 2 years project management experienceMust have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred QualificationsProven experience managing the regulatory evaluation and permitting for multiple resources, including Water, Power, Transportation and FERC projectsDemonstrated knowledge of CEQA, NEPA and how they coordinate with the environmental permitting processes is strongly recommendedExperience managing CEQA and NEPA-specific projectsPMP certification

Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. The expected compensation range for this position is $117,194.00 - $190,250.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
