Reporting to the Head Coach, the Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting the head coach in all facets of developing and maintaining a successful NCAA Div III team and program.This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:Recruiting and retaining athletically and academically qualified student athletesPlanning and conducting practicesAssisting in fundraisingOther duties as assigned by the head coach or Athletic DirectorPosition Status:

Temporary Staff Appointment - HourlyQualifications:Minimum Education and Experience:Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.Requires up to two years relevant experience in an administrative function, good communication and interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:One year of leadership or coaching experience at college, high school, or club level.Excellent oral/written communication skills.Willingness to work varied hours, including nights and weekends.Demonstrates ability to successfully recruit to an NCAA DIV III institution.Possess knowledge of NCAA DIV III, ECAC and NJAC regulations and committed to adhering to all conference and institutional regulations.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Must be able to work under sometimes challenging physical conditions.Ability to lift heavy items up to 50lbs, per OSHA standards.Posting Open Date:
