The Mannsville Free Library (MFL), a member of the North Country Library System (NCLS), is currently accepting resumes for the PART-TIME position of LIBRARY DIRECTOR. We are a small community Library that has greatly expanded our outreach in recent years, and makes community engagement and partnerships a priority.The new Director will report directly to the Board of Trustees and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Library operations, including:•Collection management•Programming for all ages•Supervision of staff and volunteers•Management of & adherence to MFL and NCLS policies & requirements•Community engagement•Maintaining strong relationships with community partners•Looking for new ways to bring programs and services to our patrons, as well as underserved audiences.The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work within a budget, and be willing to learn new tools and technologies.The position is approximately 15-20 hours/week, including Saturday mornings and some evenings, with occasional additional weekend hours or events, as scheduled. Salary range is $16-18/hour depending on experience.
