The Division of Physical Therapy at the Health Sciences Center School of Medicine Campus has a temporary part-time adjunct faculty position for hire to be the course instructor of record for PT660 Health, Wellness, and Fitness. Duties include course content creation and dissemination, grading, collaborating with full-time faculty to promote evidence-based learning experiences, and maintaining a high-quality educational experience for UNM DPT students.The class meets 8 hours per week: Mondays and Fridays from 1 pm to 5 pm starting August 21st and running until October 11th, 2023. Teaching Period: 2 month contract x 8 hours per week.Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:Physical Therapy degree;5 years' experience in an outpatient orthopaedic physical therapy setting;Board Certified Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy;Current or eligible NM PT license;Eligible to work in the U.S.Preferred Qualifications:5+ years' experience in an outpatient orthopaedic physical therapy setting;Evidence of continuing education in sports and/or orthopaedic physical therapy;Additional physical therapy board specialization;ABPTRFE accredited residency graduate;Prior experience as an instructor in a DPT program;Advanced degree (post-professional DPT or PhD).Application Instructions
