SUMMARY

An Event Day Staff for TeamOps has the unique opportunity to provide safety, security and service to each and every guest that enters the venue. Each Event Day Staff Member will work in a variety of areas throughout the stadium.

Every Playmaker is expected to use their venue knowledge, familiarity with venue policies, and their helpful disposition to promote positive and memorable experiences for each guest.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Welcome fans and guests with exceptional customer service and a smile from event start to finish.

Ensure fans safety and security by conducting careful entry screening and inspections. This will include the tactful messaging of prohibited items or non-compliant bags that cannot be allowed into the stadium.

Scan tickets to verify authorized entry into the venue, resolve any ticket issues through appropriate escalation while ensuring the guest feels that they are receiving the necessary assistance to resolve their issues.

Ensure guests can enjoy their event experience by verifying that they are entering the correct section and seat (e.g., bowl, clubs, suites). Politely resolve seat disputes by identifying the proper seat location and assisting the guests on navigating to the proper location.

Assist guests with any special requests including accessibility questions or accommodations.

Be available and visible to guests and provide assistance as needed including directions, policy questions and service opportunities. Guest relationships and their overall experience is our top priority.

Reinforce safety by monitoring crowd activities and reporting any suspicious activity and/or behavior to your supervisor.

Special projects and assignments as business dictates.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times.

Effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with a wide variety of people in an exciting environment.

Ability to take direction and demonstrate flexibility with shifting priorities on event day.

Ability to work full stadium events to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must be able to adhere to process protocol and must be able to apply established protocols in a timely manner.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to stand for prolonged periods.

Some positions may require the repeated climbing of stairs.

Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud/very loud on event days.

This position may require work in inclement weather to include heat, cold, rain, snow.
