Job Description
Environmental monitoring of classified areas including incubation of samples, reading of results, reporting, and approving data. Environmental monitoring activities include but are not limited to contact plates, settle plates, viable/non-viable counts, microbial ID testing, and operator monitoring.
Train staff on environmental monitoring procedures.
Act as a technical resource for junior team members.
General laboratory operations (ordering supplies, preparing buffers/mobile phase/culture media, operating laboratory equipment, participation in quality and safety assessments, sample receipt, notebook data authoring/review/integrity following good documentation practices).
Trending of data for quarterly reports and investigating EM excursions including OOS results.
General laboratory maintenance (user-accessible equipment, lab organization, and cleanliness).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, engineering, or other related degree concentration.
Two years of directly relevant experience with environmental monitoring in a clean room environment.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Additional Information:
The position is full-time, Tuesday-Saturday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, requiring schedule flexibility and overtime as needed. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Branchburg, NJ are encouraged to apply.
