Environmental Monitoring Specialist (Temporary Role)
Full-timeEurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company, providing a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries, to make life and our environment safer, healthier and more sustainable.In this role, you will be responsible for:Environmental monitoring of classified areas including incubation of samples, reading of results, reporting, and approving data. Environmental monitoring activities include but are not limited to contact plates, settle plates, viable/non-viable counts, microbial ID testing, and operator monitoring.Training staff on environmental monitoring procedures.Acting as a technical resource for junior team members.General laboratory operations (ordering supplies, preparing buffers/mobile phase/culture media, operating laboratory equipment, participation in quality and safety assessments, sample receipt, notebook data authoring/review/integrity following good documentation practices).Trending of data for quarterly reports and investigating EM excursions including OOS results.General laboratory maintenance (user-accessible equipment, lab organization, and cleanliness).Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, engineering, or other related degree concentration.Two years of directly relevant experience with environmental monitoring in a clean room environment.Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.What to Expect in the Hiring Process:10-15 minute phone interview with Recruiter.60 minute virtual interview with the Hiring Manager.The position is full-time, Tuesday-Saturday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, requiring schedule flexibility and overtime as needed. This position has a temporary role of three months with the possibility of being a direct hire. Candidates living within a commutable distance of Branchburg, NJ are encouraged to apply.
