We are currently seeking candidates to fill a Full-time year-round

Food & Beverage Supervisor

position. This position offers a variety of tasks on any given day and will never leave you bored at work!

Schedule of duties and shifts may vary daily and week to week depending on business levels or events scheduled in the banquet area. Preferably available days & nights. Weekends & holidays are required.

Pay includes hourly wage starting at $14.00/hour plus any tips that may be earned.

Responsibilities:

Assists the Food & Beverage Manager in the daily operations of the dining room, lounge, banquets and/or snack bar.

Supervise Restaurant, Lounge, Banquet & Snack Bar team to ensure: 1) guests are greeted in the shortest amount of time in accordance with the company-established standards, 2) tables or buffets are cleared within the shortest possible time and 3) that all F&B area shifts are properly staffed at all times.

Train all new employees on F&B responsibilities and daily duties.

Act as expeditor in the kitchen when the restaurant is busy yet maintains a presence for guest issues.

Assist servers with bussing duties during peak business hours as needed.

Assist bartenders as needed during a rush or peak business hours.

Lead Banquet events and work with the Banquet team to ensure all meals and breaks are delivered properly and timely as specified on the banquet event order (BEO).

During slow periods of the year, perform any F&B duties including busser, server, cashier, set-up, bartender, etc.

Work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager to develop and implement creative strategies to increase revenues while ensuring guest satisfaction.

Assist with monthly food and supply inventories as directed.

Act as Manager on duty for the Lodge as required.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Must possess 1 year of food & beverage supervisory or management experience, preferably in a restaurant, banquet or catering setting.

Preferably available days & nights.

Weekends & holidays required.

Previous bartender knowledge preferred.

Previous experience using a POS system in a restaurant environment preferred.

Possess a Valid Driver’s License.

Preferred certification in ServSafe and/or Alcohol service training, but if not, must attend the next company scheduled training.

Requires standing/walking for long periods of time and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
