In this role you will work as part of our Grande Custom Ingredients Group (GCIG) to formulate applications solutions for our customers utilizing functional whey ingredients across multiple product categories. This position will utilize a knowledge of Food Science principles and their application. Specifically, you will develop prototypes, and make customer presentations that communicate the value of GCIG ingredients. The execution of time-sensitive customer focused projects, to support the sales team are important tasks. Apply today to drive your career forward with the formulation of innovative, dairy based applications!What you need to be considered for the role:4 Year / Bachelors Degree in Food Science or related field required.Broad-base scientific skills and knowledge (microbiology, chemistry, statistics, biology, sensory science, food science, dairy science, biochemistry).Effective writing, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.Preferred:Master's Degree in Food Science or related field preferred.Experience in food product development, especially with dairy or functional ingredients, or ingredient application preferred.
