We are excited to share that we successfully launched the new campus in 2022 and are ready to welcome our growing campus of 9th-grade and 11th-grade students to the 2024-25 school year!Primary Responsibilities of a Stratford Sports Coach:The responsibilities of the Sports coach will consist of some or all of the following:Commitment to the well-being of athletes, development of the Stratford athletic program, quality coaching, and continued education on best practices.Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Manage equipment, uniforms, and facilities.Responsible for supervising your student-athletes at all times, including away games and after practice, until your specific team members have been picked up by a parent/guardian.Coordinate transport to various locations for practices.The ideal candidate:The ideal coaching candidate will have the following:Experience coaching at the high school or college level.A high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree encouraged).Prior playing experience, coaching experience, or any combination of the two in the sport you seek to coach.Strong knowledge of your sport, including but not limited to knowledge of training and conditioning techniques and the ability to diagnose player deficiencies and prescribe sport-related corrective activities.An up-to-date CPR/AED Certification (If you don’t have a current certification, we can work with you to get you certified).Skills and Attributes:The ideal coach will be able to:Coach athletes of different ages and skill levels.Access and utilize technology to support their athlete development.Establish and maintain positive working relationships with faculty, staff, administrators, students, parents, and community members.Coaches will be paid hourly based on their previous experience, certifications (If any), and level of education. Pay Range: $25-45 per hour.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
