PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Director of Healthy Lifestyles and Youth Leadership is responsible managing programs that support the physical wellbeing of BGCAA Club Members which includes sports, nutrition, and risky behavior prevention. Additionally, this position will oversee youth leadership programs with the support of the Character & Leadership Teen Coordinator.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Essential Job Responsibilities):
Creates, implements, promotes, and manages physical wellbeing programs including sports, nutrition, and risky behavior prevention.
Manages the implementation of youth leadership programs including service learning, youth volunteer opportunities and Youth of the Year with the support of the Character & Leadership Teen Coordinator.
Coordinates fee-based programs
Direct supervision of the Character & Leadership Teen Coordinator and sports referees
Trains staff on various curriculum such as but not limited to: Healthy LifeStars, SMART Moves, Torch Club, Keystone and Youth of the Year
Collects program data including member satisfaction, interests, and program outcomes
Conducts regular program quality observations across Club locations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
