Job Description:

The

Director, RCM Shared Services

is responsible for the success and efficiency of practice-based revenue cycle management (RCM) teams, and internal OneOncology teams. This position will drive assigned RCM projects, quality assurance functions, utilize analytics to guide workflow optimization, and lead corporate in-house RCM teams. This position will also play a key role in optimizing our Western markets – providing a deeper level expertise on areas such as capitated payer contracts, IPAs, DOFRs, and other unique complexities of that market.

Responsibilities

Define and implement policies and workflows in both new and existing OneOncology practices.

Responsible for day-to-day operations of centralized RCM offerings for assigned shared service practice pods, including meeting KPI and performance goals.

Oversee the quality processes that contribute to revenue cycle management.

Responsible for direct leadership, training and performance of staff to establish and maintain best practices.

Reviews and analyzes KPI reports, identifying trends to ensure quality problems have a corresponding action plan.

Owner of system admin configuration for OneOncology-owned database tables as required.

Identifies training needs and develops training materials, process maps, QRG’s and step by step instructions for OneOncology practices and vendors.

Work with the analytics team to identify meaningful metrics for deep dive RCM review.

Participate in committees and work alongside payer and finance teams to optimize revenue opportunities and assure appropriate accruals. Co-develop with various stakeholders RCM implementation plans specific to unique payer markets such as the Southern California payer segment (including but not limited to: capitated contracts, IPAs, DOFRs, etc).

Review capitated contracts and relevant data for revenue optimization and identify leakage opportunities.

Drive RCM projects and implementation efforts related to RCM delivery initiatives.

Work closely with the Sr Director of RCM to identify priorities and deploy resources to optimize RCM performance and practice revenue.

Ability to work in a matrix environment where multiple and competing customer demands are likely.

Qualifications

5+ years in relevant healthcare and RCM leadership experience.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Strong background in managed care payer market.

Oncology experience a plus.

Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

Must be detail oriented and organized.

Flatiron OncoEMR proficiency desired but not required.

G4 Centricity proficiency desired but not required.

Strong Microsoft suite skills required including Excel and PowerPoint.

Knowledge of practice management software preferred.

High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information.

Based on business need, the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends.

Prefers candidates in Glendale, CA area.
