The Humboldt Plant also has an On-site Tyson Learning Center (child daycare center).We offer a full range of benefits and perks including:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceTelehealth servicesWell-Being Support ProgramsFSA and HSA available401kStock Purchase PlanCompany Paid Life InsuranceShort-Term & Long- Term DisabilityFully Funded EducationDiscount Program*Sponsorship is not offered for this position and applicant must reside in the United States.SUMMARY:This position is responsible for providing technical assistance to producers caring for the company's birds in regards to the proper care and comfort.RESPONSIBILITIES:Advising producers regarding building and equipment specificationsLitter manipulation and farm sanitationDocumenting bird comfortManagement of the flock and equipment settingsMonitoring bird health and providing remedy when possibleMonitoring feed consumption and ordering feed if necessaryPulling blood and fat samples on time when requiredCoordinating chick placements to the farms and helping with catch schedulesEnsuring communication between hatchery feed mill and live haul as it pertains to their contract farmsInsuring producer and company are in compliance with the production contract so as to produce flocks of the highest quality and lowest cost due to good performanceEnsuring all USDA and other government regulations are followed when handling poultryWorking with the Broiler and Breeder Departments in coordinating weekly chick placementsPerforming other responsibilities as the need arisesREQUIREMENTS:Education:

Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred.Experience:

1 plus years in farm or animal husbandry preferred.Computer Skills:

Basic computer skills.Travel:

1 to 5 trips per year.Relocation Assistance Eligible:
