WellSky is seeking a Solutions Engineer III to join our team. Solutions Engineers are responsible for working with WellSky clients and internal WellSky project teams to create commercially viable interface software solutions to address the specific needs of a client and/or industry where technology and efficiency can help them grow their business. This role requires a collaborative approach with internal stakeholders. These tasks will involve using tools such as Structured Query Language (SQL), C# programming language, Microsoft Office, and Microsoft SQL Server.A day in the life!You will be responsible for the following:Work directly with project managers, project teams, and client personnel learning and conducting technical implementation tasks through the life cycle of the project.Lead client technical meetings to ensure the implementation tasks of each phase are executed properly.Analyze legacy client environments to identify data for communication through interfaces.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of worked time and other client deliverables according to established standards and procedure to ensure proper billing and revenue recognition.Lead problem resolution efficiently and professionally by applying knowledge of system software, applications and hardware, including third party peripherals that affect the functionality and performance of WellSky solutions.Design interface solutions and write specifications that will be used to build and test the interfaces in the WellSky system.Devise solutions to client problems based on limited information by adapting existing approaches to resolve issues.Perform other job duties as assigned.Do you have what it takes?Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field.4-6 years related work experience.Demonstrated skills with Microsoft SQL and C# in technical applications.Experience formulating strategies and concepts.Demonstrated experience in software design concepts and database schematics.Ability to translate business requirements into software solutions.Demonstrated results in delivering program/software solutions, data modeling and object-oriented design techniques.Demonstrated experience in working effectively with teams and developing people.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment.Strong Microsoft Office skills.Able to travel up to 10%.Do you stand above the rest?Preferred Qualifications:5+ years of experience developing software solutions using SQL and C# languages.5+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (or higher), writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.Additional job expectations applicable to this position include:Willingness to work additional or irregular hours as needed.Working in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures.Performing other responsibilities as assigned.WellSky is where independent thinking and collaboration come together to create an authentic culture.
