Data Scientist

is responsible for using an analytics skillset with a client-facing lens to bring actionable insight to WellSky solutions and collaborates with our solution teams to bring solutions to market. This role is responsible for synthesizing and leveraging datasets to enhance point of care solutions.

A day in the life!

You will be responsible for the following:Conducting in-depth analysis of healthcare data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that contribute to strategic decision-making.Developing predictive models and machine learning algorithms to enhance clinical and operational outcomes.Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into analytical solutions.Cleaning, preprocessing, and validating data to ensure accuracy and reliability.Staying abreast of the latest developments in data science and healthcare to continually enhance analytical capabilities.Communicating findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through reports, presentations, and visualizations.Working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into existing systems and processes.

Do you have what it takes?

Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field or comparable work experience.2-4 years of experience delivering data science outcomes and use of analytical, mathematical and technical skills.

Do you stand above the rest?

Preferred Qualifications:Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.Proven experience in applying data science techniques to healthcare data.Proficiency in programming languages such as SAS or Python.Strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling.Experience with healthcare data standards, terminologies, and electronic health records.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
