This position offers an opportunity to work with a diverse student body; 65% of the students are first-generation, and 62% have identified as an underrepresented minority.RESPONSIBILITIES:Facilitating engaged learning to promote student success in an outcomes-based education environment.Contributing to continuous improvement in undergraduate and graduate curriculum design and delivery.Teach 12 credits per semester for undergraduate and graduate level courses (8 credits per semester for the first two years), drawn from one or more areas of management such as organization behavior and human resources management.Demonstrating research productivity and maintaining Scholarly Academic (SA) status consistent with AACSB standards through continuous scholarly activities.Participating actively and exercising collaborative peer leadership in college-level and university-level administrative committees.Using academic training and experience to serve the profession and the public and to contribute to the CSUMB Vision.Mentoring students and supporting their career goals through introductions and referrals to relevant firms.Demonstrating a collegial, “can do” mindset to advance the overall health of the College.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Ph.D. in Management or a related field by the time of appointment from a regionally and/or AACSB accredited doctoral program.Experience working effectively in an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community.Sensitivity working effectively in an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community and business community.Commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level and the potential to teach at the graduate level.Ability to teach a range of Management courses effectively in various delivery modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, fully online).Ability, demonstrated by publications and other evidence, to regularly publish research in relevant peer-reviewed journals.Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues.Ability to work with the business community and community organizations to further the goals of the students, college, and university.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Experience teaching computer-assisted courses.Demonstrated leadership skills in professional or academic areas are desirable.Ability to teach a variety of courses related to Management.Experience teaching underrepresented minority populations is preferred.Experience with AACSB accreditation processes is preferred.International recognition of research is preferred.Knowledge and experience in community engagement, especially in terms of reaching historically underrepresented minority populations, are preferred.Experience teaching in online MBA programs is preferred.Ability to link instructional, programmatic, and/or research activities to the College of Business, focusing on Responsible Business and/or other strategic initiatives of the College.SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range: $10,540 to $10,884* mo. ($126,479 to $130,608 annual).BENEFITS:
