ASAPJob Description:We are seeking a passionate and experienced Health and Social Care Lecturer to join our dynamic team on a part-time, temporary-to-permanent basis at a reputable Further Education College in Redditch. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching two days per week (Wednesday and Thursday), helping students develop the skills and knowledge needed for a career in health and social care.Key Responsibilities:Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Health and Social Care, tailored to students at various levels.Prepare teaching materials, lesson plans, and assessments that align with the curriculum and meet the diverse needs of students.Support students in their academic and personal growth, providing guidance and feedback to help them succeed.Monitor and assess student progress, ensuring timely feedback and addressing any learning challenges.Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a high standard of education and contribute to the development of the department.Ensure compliance with college policies and safeguarding standards, promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.Key Requirements:A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).A degree or qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field.Previous experience teaching Health and Social Care, ideally within a Further Education environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.A commitment to safeguarding and the promotion of student welfare.Why Join Us?Flexible working hours (Wednesdays and Thursdays).Competitive hourly rate based on experience.Opportunity for a temp-to-perm contract in a supportive college setting.A chance to make a meaningful impact on students pursuing careers in health and social care.How to Apply:If you are a dedicated educator looking to inspire and support students in their health and social care journey, we want to hear from you.
