Full-Time Tenure Track Faculty: Sports Management

The School of Business at Quinnipiac University invites applications for one tenure track position as Assistant Professor of Management with an expected start date of Fall 2025. Priority will be given to applicants with backgrounds in sport management, sport leadership, sport analytics, or sport operations.

If the need arises, candidates may be called upon to teach in areas such as OB/Management, leadership or operations.Management faculty teach in both traditional in-person and online modalities and incorporate innovative pedagogical approaches into their teaching. This position is part of the School's strategic plan to transform the existing majors in response to industry trends. You will be involved in research, teaching, and knowledge transfer/impact in the field of Management, broadly defined.Responsibilities:Develop and teach high quality, innovative, and experientially oriented courses both on-ground and online in the various sub-domains of Management. Prepare and deliver engaging course content and classroom activities. Compile, administer, and grade assignments/ examinations in a timely fashion.Conduct and maintain an active research agenda that results in quality journal publications as defined in our School of Business Standards.Contribute active and engaged service to the department, school, and university.Provide high quality academic advising and mentorship to students and contribute to the support of school and department level co-curricular activities.Contribute to the support of the department’s student recruitment and retention efforts.Contribute to the overall supportive culture of the School of Business by participating in workshops, retreats, and other relevant activities.Education Requirements:A PhD in Management or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited Business School or a research-oriented program.
