At SMS we are currently recruiting a Fire Suppression Technician to join our team for our biggest project in the Pilbara! This is a long-term project and a great opportunity if you are looking to expand your career.Roster:
8:6 dayshift only roster FIFO from Perth, WALocation:
Pilbara WA RegionEarning Potential:
Up to $145k per annum plus superannuation paid on all hours worked. Fulltime employment including leave for all of life's planned (annual leave) and unplanned (personal leave) events.About the Role:
Maintain and service various mobile suppression systems in accordance with AS5062 StandardsPerform fault diagnosis, maintain, and install Fire Suppression systemsInstall various mobile fire suppression systems.Assist with machine audits/inspectionsDevelop and maintain fire equipment registers, inspection test reports and documentationWhat we are looking for:
Previous experience working on heavy mining equipment fire suppression systemsMaintenance and installation experience within a mining environmentExperience performing Level 1 + 2 service on Mobile Suppression SystemsExperience and understanding of a variety of Mobile Suppression SystemsWorking knowledge of AS1851-2012 and AS5062 StandardsFire suppression system installations on heavy equipment (Desirable)Certificate II in Fire Protection and TestingValid "MR" or "HR" Drivers LicenceWhat SMS can offer:
