Create a welcoming, playful and thoughtful service environment by managing assignments, scheduling, training, coaching, and developing an unparalleled Housekeeping team. Direct all housekeeping hourly employees and supervisors to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Celebrate our culture of individualism, engagement, having fun, and evolving the Wit experience for every guest every time.Recognize the importance of literature, humor, music, science, theatre, and culinary arts in making the Wit more experience than hotel.Represent the hotel in a positive manner at all times.Understand and maintain Four Diamond Rating and Doubletree brand standards and requirements.Assist the Executive Housekeeper in the control and supervision of the housekeeping department.Schedule employees based on business demands.Support the Wit training programs and encourage ongoing development for employees.Maintain control of linen, cleaning supplies, and uniforms.Inspect guest rooms.Monitor and control lost and found items.Assist in the continual search for better/equal products to carry out the departmental tasks at the lowest possible price.Assist in the completion of employee performance appraisals on time maintaining objectivity and sincerity.Demonstrate financial responsibility by monitoring budgetary guidelines.Exemplify the hotel's Standard Code of Conduct and all other regulations established by management and Employee Handbook.Lead the Wit experience as instructed by the hotel leaders.ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:Communicate in the primary language of the hotel.Show off the proper uniform/dress at all times and be well groomed.Must be available to work nights, weekends & holidays.Computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.Must be able to lift and carry up to fifty pounds.Regular and reliable attendance.By signing below, I acknowledge that I have reviewed the above information and understand what is required of me.
