VE is responsible for the integration and development of technologies into a complete truck for all brands within the Volvo Group. As an Intern you will compile and analyze data collected from various phases of engineering testing in order to develop methods and tools to extract actionable intelligence from this data. Ultimately, these insights should be fed back into the product and test development cycles to improve the quality of our products and provide customers with maximum uptime.Responsibilities:Collect vehicle and test result data from various sourcesUnderstand the challenges in VE that could be solved by mining this dataCompile data into formats suitable for analytics (ETL)Determine the appropriate analytics methodologies and apply themUse BI software to enable stakeholders to make discoveries and take action based on the dataLay the groundwork for future expansion of tools and concepts developed during internshipWho You Are

You are a Computer Science/Engineering student that is prepared to work in a challenging and fast-paced environment, gaining experience and knowledge in various aspects of engineering (or mechanical, electrical, software, design, production, etc.). As a valued member of the engineering team within GTT, you will have the opportunity to work directly with the engineers in the department. GTT values collaboration and life-long learning, and our goal is to contribute to your development while providing you an opportunity to work in a business environment within the manufacturing industry. You will report to Test Infrastructure and Automation.Required:Must be enrolled and pursuing a degree in Computer Science/Engineering at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours of undergraduate studies.Applicants must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.75.What's in it for you
