As our Grant Writer, you will report to the Director of Grants Management within the Philanthropy Department. The Grant Writer will work in close partnership with the Education, Communication, and Program Evaluation and Research Departments to create the grant proposals and reports that enable our program to serve thousands of scholars and alumni.Interested? at the center of everything we do across our 12 sites.You’ll know Grant Writer is the right fit for you if…You have a minimum of 3 years of grant writing experience (including both proposals and reports), with a proven track record of raising money from foundation, corporation, and government sources; experience writing for multiple regions is preferred.You have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal; highest priority is the ability to write clear, concise, structured, articulate, and persuasive proposals/reports.You have an understanding of the budgeting process, with the ability to create compelling narratives based on the organization’s financial data.You have experience working at a non-profit.You have the ability to build rapport quickly via Zoom and email.You are great at articulating intricate programming concepts in a clear and accessible manner.You are excited about working hybrid (in-office requirement of 4 days/month) from one of our following regions:

Oakland, CASacramento, CALos Angeles, CADenver, CONew Orleans, LAD.C. Metro Area

here .This position is exempt, with a full [L.A. Metro, Oakland, D.C. Metro] salary range of $72,845 – $98,555, [Sacramento, NOLA] salary range of $69,203 – $93,627, [Denver Metro] salary range of $65,560-$88,700 with the exact salary depending on experience. New staff are rarely brought in at the top of the range to ensure internal equity while leaving room for salary growth during an employee’s time at College Track.
