Keep Alaska Moving!What you will be doing:Join our team as an administrative support specialist and play a vital role in our Program Management and Administration Division! This position's primary responsibility is providing administrative support to the Division Director. Additionally, the position provides front desk support, timesheets, travel arrangements, purchase orders, and invoice processing. Other duties may include assisting with HR recruitments and serving as the department’s Record Officer. This experience includes work such as Administrative Assistant 1, Accounting Technician 1, Human Resource Technician 1, and similar classes with the State of Alaska or the equivalent with another employer.OROne year of advanced-level clerical experience. This experience includes work such as Office Assistant 2, Accounting Clerk, and similar classes with the State of Alaska or the equivalent with another employer.OROne year of post-secondary education from an accredited college (32 semester hours or 48 quarter hours equals 1 year).OROne year of any combination of post-secondary education, vocational education, and/or advanced-level clerical experience.At time of interview, applicants are requested to submit:Three (3) professional references, including name, job title, and current phone numbers.A copy of your last two performance evaluations.
