JOB DESCRIPTIONEmployer Description:Legend Brands, an industry leader and long standing, stable company, combines over 185 years of experience in providing equipment, accessories and chemicals for professional cleaning, facility maintenance, portable environmental control, fire remediation and water damage restoration.Job Description:Legend Brands is seeking an experienced Safety/EHS Manager to work in our fast-paced Burlington, WA manufacturing facility. The successful candidate is responsible for the continuing development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS and Regulatory Compliance processes and procedures for all Legend Brands locations.Job Requirements:Management responsibility for Legend Brands Environmental, Health, and Safety programs including chemical complianceAct as primary interface to multiple agencies to maintain commercial and governmental compliance of Legend Brand products and facilitiesManage Safety program and oversee Safety Team MeetingsMaintain EHS recordsDevelop and implement inspection policies and procedures, and a schedule of routine inspectionsDevelop health and safety procedures for all areas of the companyPrepare and schedule trainings to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topicsMonitor compliance with safety proceduresDraft inspection reports to document inspection findingsEnsure that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when neededQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in EHS or a related field or equivalent work experience4-6 years related industry experienceDemonstrated proficiency in the use of computers and related EHS softwareAbility to research, understand, communicate regulatory standards such as OSHA, WSHA and other regulationsBroad understanding of EHS and other regulatory compliance issuesPrior supervisory experienceAbility to effectively work independently as well with a team to accomplish mutual objectivesStrong desire to assist internal and external customers in a pleasant mannerStrong organizational skills with the ability to continually adapt to changing needs of the department and the employee population with a focus on continuous improvementAbility to perform well under pressure, manage competing demands, and deal with frequent changes, delays, and unexpected events while meeting deadlines and necessary objectivesAbility to travel to other locations as neededSix Sigma Certification, CQE or CQA preferredHiring Range:Between $102,000 - $120,000/AnnuallyBenefits:Legend Brands offers an excellent benefits package with comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, leaves of absence, 10 paid holidays, generous paid time off, employer matching 401k PLUS a company-sponsored pension, and more!Additional Considerations:Legend Brands is an equal opportunity employer that considers all applicants without regard to their race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, protected veteran status or disabilityCandidates must be authorized to work for an employer in the U.S., as we are not currently sponsoring or taking over sponsorship of employment VisasAll job offers are contingent upon satisfactory pre-employment drug test and background screening
