LHH Recruitment Solutions is actively recruiting a Residential Coordinator for a client in Pasadena, CA on a contract-to-hire basis. This position will be on-site in the Pasadena, CA area.Compensation:

Contract to hireRESPONSIBILITIES:Regularly inspect assigned interim and family housing sites to identify potential security risks, safety hazards, health and fire code violations, and needed maintenance repairs, ensuring a secure and compliant environment.Carry out routine wellness rounds at housing facilities to monitor the health and safety of residents, administer necessary medical interventions, such as overdose antidotes, and ensure compliance with housing rules and agreements.Actively participate in shift-start meetings with Program Management, Care Coordinators, and fellow Resident Advisors to discuss resident behaviors, needs, and any incidents that occurred, promoting a coordinated approach to resident care and safety.Create and sustain a welcoming, clean, and supportive atmosphere for residents and visitors by adhering to established protocols and ensuring communal spaces are safe and orderly.Monitor and enforce safety guidelines and policies within the housing facility to prevent hazardous conditions and reduce the risk of violence or other harmful behaviors.Conduct regular walks in the surrounding neighborhood to build relationships with local residents, address concerns, and foster positive community relations.Oversee resident conduct within the facility, addressing any rule violations promptly, and implementing corrective measures to maintain a safe and harmonious living environment.Accurately maintain records of resident and visitor interactions, ensuring all documentation is completed in accordance with housing facility guidelines and reporting requirements.Support the orderly receipt, storage, and distribution of meals to residents, ensuring all food service activities follow established procedures and meet the needs of the residents.Provide logistical and administrative support for volunteer-led programs and activities within the facility, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with facility protocols.QUALIFICATIONS:They are seeking candidates who:have basic active listening skills to effectively engage with clients, visitors, and staff.are able to demonstrate empathy and compassion, especially in sensitive situations with clients.have strong situational awareness and ability to apply appropriate de-escalation techniques.are able to assert authority tactfully, diplomatically, and collaboratively to address policy violations.are able to remain calm and composed during challenging client interactions, medical emergencies, or law enforcement involvement.are capable of continuous learning and adaptation to evolving protocols and requirements.have basic customer service skills to maintain positive and professional interactions.are proficient with office software (e.g., email, word processing, scanning) and basic office equipment operation.Our comprehensive benefits program allows employees to tailor their coverage to meet individual needs.
