We've grown on this effort by providing the customer with Engineers who have done exceptional work, and we've retained our staff by paying very strong salaries, and working hard to ensure each Engineer is doing work that aligns with their career interest.

THE PROJECTThe Sponsor requires technical support with expertise in data engineering, data management, systems engineering, software engineering, and project management for the systems used to collect, process, and exploit data used by the Sponsor.

THE ROLEThe Data Scientist will write ad-hoc code on very short timelines to address new circumstances. They will sustain, and at the direction of the Sponsor, evolve, and modernize systems and capabilities that comprise the data platform ecosystem. The Data Scientist will support downstream systems and capabilities of external Sponsor organizations dependent on the Sponsors data platform via various approaches, to include application programming interfaces (APIs). They will develop integration plans that capitalize on new data processing, modeling, and storage technologies including the cloud environments, on an ongoing basis. With Sponsor oversight, The Data Scientist will deliver new methodologies, solutions, capabilities, and products to derive more and accurate value from data. They will evaluate data collections to assess the potential value-add to the Sponsors data platform to recommend to the Sponsor. As well as evaluate data collections and ensure data transformation across the pipeline results in accurate, user-facing results within Sponsor applications. The Data Scientist will generate assessments about data, support activities to perform data acquisition and engineering, and enable the processing of data so it is integrated into data platform systems for maximum value. With Sponsor’s oversight, they will sustain, evolve, and modernize the intermediate data models to grow and advance their use by downstream systems and capabilities dependent on the Sponsor’s data.
